CWEO -First ever All Women car rally in Nashik

IMG_1862CWEO (CAIT WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS  ORGANISATION) branch of Nashik organised the first ever all women car rally in Nashik on the occassion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2014 at Mahatma Nagar Ground. The chief guests honoured for the event included Mrs. Rajshree Kute, Mrs Deepti Khanna ( Devlali), Ritu Agrawal ( Wisdom High school). The event was oragnised by Mrs Gurleen Lamba from ‘Star Warriors’ and Mrs Shilpa Bohra from ‘ Bio medical Water Grace’, Nashik.

The event started by 8;45 am in the morning with a welcome speech and Felicitation of the supportive team of CWEO of Nashik branch which included names like Mrs Suruchi Poddar, Mrs Gurleen Lamba, Mrs Anita Batara, Mrs Shilpa Bohra, Mrs Payal Lalwani, Mrs Kanika Bakshi, Mrs Vanita Narang, Mrs Priyanka Gupta, Mrs Kirti Gothi, Mrs Shweta Chopda, Mrs Poonam Anand and Mrs Vandana Kotecha. CWEO was established in January 2013, as a women wing of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) which is the apex body of trading community in India with having National Headquarters at New Delhi. Being at the nascent stage, the CWEO has a first and foremost aim to convert itself in to an all India Organization of women entrepreneurs, professionals and Executives in various Companies.
The primary objective of CWEO is to promote entrepreneurship and professional excellence in women. CWEO endeavors to enhance the various skills of women through its educational and vocational training programmes, talks, seminars, panel discussion and workshop on a wide range of subjects like information technology, taxation, insurance, stock market operations, accountancy, marketing, mutual funds, investment planning, entrepreneurship development programmes etc. It also focus on women related legal and social issues like uniform civil code, domestic violence, etc. Besides all such activities, the CWEO will also work for unleashing various talents amongst female fraternity.

IMG_1887Mrs Deepti Khanna and Mrs Rajshree Kute flagged off the rally around 9:15 am from Mahatma Nagar ground as the starting point and concluded at Dongre Vastigruha Ground. There were around 20 participants in the Car rally. The motto behind the Car rally was mere Women Empowerment. To prove that women can undertake any task with energetic attitude. The rally excelled to the mere expectation and concluded at a good note of women’s Day special.
