Nashik and Gujarat being in close proximity, Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is enthusiastic about to connecting Nashik and Gujarat via the Western railway route. Narendra Modi has taken certain steps to connect Nashik and Vaghai district. He also said to have advised the BJP politicians of Valsad and Dindori to demand for this railway route. If this demand gets approved by the railway minister, Nashik would be directly getting connected to the Western railway line.
Talking from the business perspective, Mr. Modi recommended this route as this will boost business between Gujarat and Nashik,thus opening gate to huge untapped potential of growth for Nashik. In the recent meeting of all BJP leaders, PM Modi had guided the MP of Dindori Mr. Harish Chandra Chavan and Mr. Dr. K. C. Patel MP of Valsad , to demand for this railway route.
The railway minster, Mr. Sadanand Gouda is likely to announce the result of this new proposal of railway route in the coming Rail budget in the month of February.
Thus, the new railway route from Nashik to Vaghai is likely to get on floors in coming future. Mr. Harish Chandra Chavan stated “Pm Modi has intimated us to directly demand this railway route, thus we are making the proposal accordingly”.
