Channel V’s India Fest 2013 kick started on 18th Jan 2013 for two days in Goa. The fest is specially designed to encourage students to pick unconventional and their choice of careers. Different talent stalls are stationed for them to showcase their talent. After a huge zonal selection only a handful are brought in Goa to compete for a prize money of 50 lakhs.
Commenting on the same Channel V GM and EVP, Prem Kamath says, “We at channel V are trying to give these students a platform to perform. We help them pick things as career which they like. We at V channel with our programming and such shows are trying to give a message out.”
He further adds, “We give them a chance to know their talent and also they get to perform infront of big celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Dino Morea, Shankar-Ehsaan and Loy.”
The fest was hosting fashion shows, dance competitions and live performances by the sensation Farhan Akhtar, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy and Raghu Dixit.
