The Jigar Da Tukda – Ranveer Singh charms you as an archaeologist (Varun) in his Classic Love Story ‘Lootera’ accompanied by the Dabbang girl – Sonakshi Sinha (Pakhi) in lead roles. Director Vikram Motwane’s last creation ‘Udaan’ managed to win the hearts across the nation and his Lootera is inspired from American author O. Henry’s short story ‘The Last Leaf’ and is beautifully crafted love story that drives you in the world of romance.

Pakhi playes the role of a daughter of a Zamindar in the old Manikpur village of West Bengal. Varun enters their life and with his knowledge impresses the family, especially Pakhi. Eventually love blossoms but it is more from the side of Pakhi.

However, at the time of Varun’s departure, Pakhi shares her feelings with her father but fate plays its role and Pakhi is shocked by the real face of Varun. This turns her love into hatred. She tries hard to move on in life but still Varun appears again in her life and thus it leaves you wondering about the climax of the movie.

The songs of the movie like ‘Sawar Loon’ and ‘Ankahee’ having a classy and delightful meaning with proper musical arrangement are already on the minds of people. Apart from this the other compositions are also very soothing and have enchanting background musical arrangements (flute, organ, ‘santoor’, and guitar)

Overall the movie keeps you a bit disappointed as the flick could have been portrayed in a more romantic and serene manner but it failed to meet the audience’s expectations, still the movie is a onetime watch!
