Boss – Movie Review

Khiladiyon ka Khiladi is back in the big frame as BOSS, but unfortunately fails to rule the box-office. Anthony D’Souza the man behind the direction, stares the god of action Akshay Kumar, the king of dance Mithun Chakraborty and others like Ronit Roy, Shiv Pandit, and the young damsel Aditi Rao Hydari. This action-comedy genre is the remake of the Malayalam movie Pokkiri Raja.

The story revolves around Satyakanth Shastri (Mithun) who plays the role of Boss’s (Akshay) father, where they don’t share a good rapport  with each other whereas Akshay is the right hand of the don who is the Big Boss.

Akshay basically is a Haryanvi boy who has strong and aggressive command on his dialogues (similar like Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobara). The punch line which the lead actor repeats and attracts the audiences is  ‘Apne ko kya hai, apne ko toh bus paani nikalna hain’.

Akshay’s younger brother played by Shiv (Shiv Pandit) falls for the lady love Ankita (Aditi Rao Hydari), who is the sister of the mercilessly mocking cop ACP Ayushman Thakur (Ronit Roy) and here you get the story line of the flick, which is not so new. The music comprises of tunes of action, romance and melodrama.

Overall the movie is not a great pass time but will be enjoyed by action lovers and of course  Akshay kumar’s fans.Page 3 Nashik reviews the boss in theaters, check out!
