aamirNow there is a great news for Nashikites, Mr Perfectionist Aamir khan was in Nashik on 21st february 2014. Aamir Khan’s home has become a facilitating ground for his upcoming show Satyamev Jayate 2. All the on-air promos of the show, to be telecast on Star Plus, have been shot at the actor’s house. Recently, the star  Aamir Khan shot with farmers from Nashik for the first look of the show Satyamev Jayate 2 that will be unveiled.

Superstar Aamir Khan’s hit show Satyamev Jayate is back with its second season. It will go on air from March 2. The 48-year-old act or garnered appreciation for creating a debate on country’s pressing social problems through the show, that dealt with a number of hard hitting social topics. Some of the issues raised in the show includes female foeticide, healthcare scenario in India and domestic violence. The 13-episode season one created a lot of buzz among the audience. Aamir Khan along with the makers of Satyamev Jayate, have roped in Superstar Mohanlal for the upcoming season of the issue-based television show.

In 2012, Aamir Khan received an overwhelming response for his TV show Sayamev Jayate that highlighted several sensitive social issues prevalent in India. With season two coming up now, Aamir has another novel idea up his sleeve. He will begin his journey on Satyamev Jayate 2 from the very spot where Dashrath Manjhi started breaking a mountain to carve a road all by himself.
Dashrath Manjhi, from Gehlaur in Gaya, Bihar, became a living legend when he single-handedly carved a path through a mountain. From 1960 to 1982, he dedicated 22 years of his life to this endeavour.
Aamir Khan had touched upon this story in an episode titled The Idea of India in season one.
He was very impressed with this man, who was working towards something that seemed impossible at the onset. Aamir was keen on meeting his family, but he couldn’t go last year. That’s why he will visit his village on Saturday (February 22). Also he shot for the Promo with the farmers of Nashik.imagesaamni
Satyamev Jayate received an overwhelming positive response and feedback from both the critics as well as the public. The show was widely appreciated by several film and television personalities, politicians and social activists for its research, format, presentation and content.
Satyamev Jayate was the first show of Indian television which aired simultaneously on a private channel network STAR and a national broadcaster DOORDARSHAN. The show was dubbed in several languages including three southern Indian languages  viz.,Malayalam, Tamil and Telagu , along with Bengali and Marathi. Apart from Star Plus, the show was simulcast on Star World (with English Subtitles), Star Utsav, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha, Asianet and Star Vijay within the STAR Network and other channels including DD Network and Eenadu TV. Besides India, the show aired in over 100 countries around the world.

The season two will be much exciting especially for Nashikites as the first look of the show is being shot in Nashik.
