The Concept Forum, a group of cheerful and gracious ladies of Nashik, hosted by Mrs. Ritu Chabbra took off ‘green’ this festive season. Diwali is celebrated as the festivity of lights, colors, delicacies and moreover togetherness. A beautiful concept of ‘Green Diwali’ was brought in picture by eminent personalities in Nashik on 31st October, 2013 at Hotel The Gateway. To name a few were Mrs. Sarangal, Mrs. Rajashri Kute, Mrs. Vanita Narang, Mrs. Sancheti and many others.
The message spread by Concept Forum this Diwali was to encourage people to not use harmful crackers but to celebrate it in an eco-friendly manner. The closed event kicked off at 3.30 pm with great performances by well-known comedian Dharshi Baredia and a local traditional dancer Mrs. Kavita. Both the artist showcased their flamboyant art and took the event to new heights. A treat to eyes was the use of neon products like eye-gears, wrist bands and head gears carried off by the gorgeous ladies who flaunted their neon gears and sported an eco-friendly party look.
Followed by was an exclusive preparation of healthy dishes for thyroid patients like Miso soup, stuffed Artichoke and more by the experienced chefs of Hotel The Gateway. They demonstrated the preparations and also conducted a tasting session. Concept Forum also supported a mentally challenged kid named Arvind Fernandez who made attractive, decorative paper bags and displayed them for selling to the guests present there. The guests extended a helping hand and contributed a good amount for the well-being of this special child.
An event full of positive energies and vibes surrounded the royal décor of the hotel. It is indeed great to watch people taking initiative to make the city a happy and a healthy place to reside. To bid a sweet farewell Mrs. Ritu Agrawal and Mrs. Kirti Vora shared delicious Diwali sweets with others and it all ended with a sweet note.
