On The Spot- An artist’s victory!

OST_11The exhibition with a display of manifestation of collection self-made aesthetic landscapes showed up in Nashik for a span of 5 days. ‘On the spot’- An artist’s spectacle by artist Aniket Mahale on water-color paintings was held in Nashik from January 22nd to January 26th 2014 at Chandmoyi Art gallery, Kusumagraj Pratishthan on Gangapur Road from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 22nd January at 11:30 am in the honour of Chief Guest Artist Keshav More. There were other dignitaries present for the ceremony naming a few Vandan Potnis (editor of Gaavkari), Rekha Tai Nadagauda (Classical dancer), Dhananjay Shinde (Architect), and Vikram Ugale OST_3(Hotel Industry). A few demonstrations of Artist Keshav More were also held on January 23rd and 24th January.

Artist Aniket Mahale portrays reality and City landscapes in his paintings. He also owns an institute called ‘Kalasanskar Chitrashala’ at Savarkar Nagar Nashik. He has a working experience with Kilbil St.Joseph’s High School and currently working with IDEAS College of Architecture and Environmental Studies and NDMVP College. He has been awarded with the ‘Nashik Kala Niketan’ award, best Landscape awards for the year 1998 and 2010 and artwork selected in best paintings in Bombay Art Society in Professional category.

OST_9‘On the Spot’ exhibition is a complete display of watercolor landscapes, an art which takes place in your mind and you paint it from your heart. It’s a complete magic of colors. The expo got great response from Nashikkites as they witnessed the world of creativity and art to feel the magic of colors. On the Spot was definitely an artist’s victory.
