Golden era of music enthralled Nashikites
The music lovers from Nashik experienced the golden era of music and words, in a musical programme organised by Kusumagraj Pratishthan on Sunday.
The programme, ‘Ek mood, Ek Kaifiyat’ was based on the lyrics written by Bollywood’s noted lyricist Gulzar. It was anchored by Kishor Kadam, popularly known as poet Saumitra.
Renowned singers Ragini Kamatkar and Prashant Deshpande presented famous bollywood numbers such as ‘Mora gora ang laile’, ‘Humne dekhi hai un ankhon ki mehkati khushbu’, ‘tuz se narraz nahi zindagi’, ‘Oh maazi re’, ‘woh sham kuchh ajib thi’, ‘aajkal paav zaminpar nahi padte mere’, ‘do naino mein aansu bhare hai’ and many others which kept the audience enthralled for the entire show. The singers were accompanied by Satish Pendse on Tabla.
