Wockhardt Hospital inaugurated a Hernia Clinic for patients in the city on Saturday. General surgeon from Wockhardt Hospital Dr GB Singh said, “Purpose of creating the special clinic is to spread awareness regarding Hernia disease and treat patients in very affordable charges.”
He further said, “We have already completed more 300 Hernia repairs with excellent results and through the clinic we want to promote the technique of Laparoscopic Hernia Repair.”
This Hernia clinic will be operational every Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm. Under this Hernia clinic, Wockhardt will conduct Hernia surgeries training every three months in which five surgeries will be done free of cost for patients. Surgeons will be trained on how to perform the surgeries.
