Israel will be investing in dairy as well as agro industries in Nashik soon, assured Israel Consul General Jonathan Miller to Nashik Industries and Manufacturers” Association (NIMA). Efforts will be taken to provide new opportunities of business to Nashik farmers and entrepreneurs by Israel, he said.
Miller was interacting with NIMA members during a one-day seminar held at NIMA House to appraise the Nashikites of Israeli technology and various business opportunities in the district.
He was accompanied by a delegation of entrepreneurs including entrepreneur Anay Joglekar and others. Millar interacted with the entrepreneurs on the industrial policy of his nation. NIMA president Manish Kothari, Chamber of Commerce vice president Santosh Mandlecha, Ambad Industries and Manufacturers” Association (AIMA) vice president Prakash Brahmankar, NIMA”s Tejpal Bora, infrastructure sub-committee president Venus Wani, power sub-committee president Milind Rajput, additional vice president Arun Chavanke, secretary Ashish Nahar and others were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Kothari expressed confidence that entrepreneurs and industrialists from Nashik will surely benefit from the Israeli technology and industry. Israeli technology and Nashik”s manpower will give an impetus to industrial development in the area.
Miller said that Israel is a major country exporting diamonds. The diamonds are exported to India where they are cut and shined after which these diamonds are sent back to Israel, he informed.
He gave detailed information on industry, finance, agriculture, food processing and automation sectors.
Various representatives of industrial organizations, office bearers, industries were present on the occasion.
