The King of fruits – Mango which arrives in the market at the end of April, has arrived in the beginning of April itself this year.
Mango is one of the important summer fruits. It arrives at around mid April or at the end of April. But this year, it has arrived at least two weeks before.
Mangoes from Konkan are in great demand in Nashik. Among the mangoes which arrive here, the Alphonso mangoes from Devgad and Ratnagiri are the favourites among people. Devgad Alphonso mangoes are sold at Rs 350 per kg whereas Ratnagiri Alphonsoes are sold at Rs 325 per kilogram.
