‘Nashik Dance Fest 2014’ which was recently held at Dadasaheb Gaikwad auditorium concluded with zeal. In the grand finale of this fest young dancers from the city presented their performances with much enthusiasm.
Newly elected MP Hemant Godse was present on the occasion as a chief guest along with dignitaries like corporater Shailesh Dhage, president of Staff Society Suryawanshi, Dance India Dance (DID) star Raghav Juyal aka Crockroaz, DID Star’s Vaibhav Ghuge and BB Chandak.
Performances by famous dancer Raghav Juyal at the mega dance show were the main attraction of the event. Contestant gripped the audience with their stunning performances. More than 1000 participants enrolled into the dance fest.
The event was organised in association with The Dancing World, Rohan & Creator Events and Costumes were sponsored by Kala Drapery centre.
CIDCO’s Sunny Group won the group dance competition. Kewal Dance Academy bagged the first prize in duet dance form whereas Sambhaji Patil bagged the first prize in solo dance competition. Winners were awarded with cash prizes along with certificates.
The Sanskrit camp will be held in Rani Bhavan, Gole Colony during June 1 and June 10 at 6 to 7.30 pm. Individuals above the age group of 12 can attend this camp. No fees will be charged and prior Sanskrit knowledge is not required to attend the camp. Organisers have invited Sanskrit lovers to attend this camp. Various certificate courses will start in Rani Bhavan soon. The camp will take place at Rani Bhavan during June 1 and June 10 at 6 to 7.30 pm.
