Nashik continues to be the coldest city in state

IMG-20140216-WA0000The Nashik city and surrounding areas experienced showers and resultant drop in temperature for the last two days. The city recorded 1.9 millimetre rainfall and temperature slid to 9 degree Celsius on 15th february.
The city recorded lowest temperature of 9 degree Celsius. Since past two days the sky has been overcast causing further drop in temperature.
The harvesting season of grapes is underway. Due to the unexpected showers grape growers are fearing damage to the crop. In such climate crops attract attack of fungi. According to the district administration entire district received showers.
Nashik witnessed a fluctuating weather.

For the second day on 16th febrary in a row, Nashik continues to be the coldest city in state as  mercury tumbled down to 7.9 degree Celsius. On the other hand, reduced humidity spurred spread of a thick cover of fog all over the town.
Since last two days, citizens are experiencing biting cold. Saturday afternoon city received showers, which again contributed to the sharp drop in mercury. The meteorological department has predicted that on Monday, the temperature of town will again slide further to settle down at 7 degree Celsius mark.

In January Nashik had recorded lowest 6.8-degree temperature. The fog cover reduced the visibility due to which vehicle drivers facing troubles while driving on city roads.

Nashik is thus experiencing a fluctuating weather from last two days which adversely affects the city.
