Nashik projects to be reviewed by MNS

untitledThe Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Monday decided to review development work in each prabhag of the civic body within two weeks and submit the report to the party chief, after Raj Thackeray announced that he would contest the coming state assembly elections . The MNS is running the show in the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). The party’s state general secretary and Nashik chief for party affairs, Avinash Abhyankar, will be on a Nashik tour for the next couple of weeks to review the development work accomplished by the party.

In the meantime, Abhyankar and city mayor Yatin Wagh conducted a meeting of all heads of departments and instructed them to speed up the work. The review of all developmental projects in all 61 prabhags will be reviewed during the next couple of weeks and the reports will be sent to our leader, Raj Thackeray, after every three-four days. It has been instructed to clear all essential pending files. At present, 31 Kumbh-related projects worth Rs 541.74 crore have started, while 15 works worth Rs 151 crore are in the tender process. Apart from this, 47 Kumbh projects worth Rs 137.13 crore will be undertaken in the current fiscal.
