Nashik soon to be recognised as an educational hub
It seems Nashik is soon to be known as an educational hub, athough Nashik today is heading towards becoming an important educational hub, the scenario was quite different 15 years ago. Not many colleges and institutes existed in the city. The foundation of engineering colleges was laid by institutions like KK Wagh Engineering College and Maratha Vidya Prasarak’s (MVP) NDMVP. However, this scene has changed today with the arrival on the scene of medical and other engineering colleges. Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical College has established its mark of being one of the most renowned medical colleges in North Maharashtra. Likewise, Bhujbal Knowledge City (BKC), Sapkal Knowledge Hub (SKH), Sandeep Foundation and Matoshree Engineering College are now well-known for their quality of education and several other facilities. With the establishment of such colleges and institutions, the educational scenario in city soon started shining.
Nashik has become North Maharashtra’s capital for several things, education being one of the most important reasons. Students not only from Dhule, Manmad and Jalgaon come to the city to purse engineering degrees, but students from different states too are keen about pursuing their education in Nashik. The city is not only known for the colleges but the IT companies too are making their mark.
Companies like ESDS, Anant Technocrat, WNS, Arees, Winjit and Plexus among several other companies have taken Nashik to a global plane.
Not all graduates get placement opportunities in the city and have to migrate to bigger cities like Mumbai and Pune but this too will change soon as several IT companies are planning their set-up in Nashik.
Thus, Nashik, a place which is considered as ideal to live due to reasons like its climate, human connect, hassle-free commutation and relative affordability will soon be an ideal place for best quality education and job opportunities. With several other developments of the city, Nashik soon will be known for education and better job opportunities for the youth.
