Netherlands willing to invest in Nashik’s agro industry

1PAGE3NASHIKDuring the visit to Nashik, a delegation of the Netherlands Council of Agro Business and Trade (NCABT) said that Netherland is anxious to invest in the agricultural sector of Nashik. On Thursday, the NCABT and Nashik Industries and Manufacturers Association (NIMA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Netherland is the second largest agro-equipment manufacturer country in the world. At present, many agriculture related research works are being carried out there. Meanwhile, NCABT has decided to invest in India. As a part of the business expansion mechanism the NCABT delegation called on the NIMA office bearers here today. During the meeting, BB Bansal the trade officer of NCABT said that, barring other states and cities in country, Netherlands has decided to concentrate on the agricultural business in Nashik and has decided to invest here. In this meeting the NIMA and NCABT have signed an MoU as per which both the entities will extend and share business opportunities.

A PAGE3NASHIKThe delegation also took detailed information about the business opportunities and present condition of trade and business in Nashik. NIMA representatives gave detailed information about the present condition of the trade and business here.
NIMA officers have brought to notice of the Netherland delegation about the investment possibilities in educational, social and economical sectors in Nashik. Talking at this time, NIMA president Manish Kothari said that the joint work of Netherland and Nashik industry would accelerate industrial growth.
