As we all are aware of the fact that the grand Kumbh Mela is near and loud preparations are being set up in Nashik city. Kumbh Mela 2015 is said to be a gigantic occasion for everyone. But to make the efforts look effortless, a sensible thought has been put forward to check the safety and security of Nashik.
Maharashtra Home Minister Mr. R. R. Patil of the State Legislative Council announces the installation of CCTV cameras in Nashik. The Government has sanctioned Rs. 51 crore for installation of the cameras in and around the city.
Mr. Jayant Jadhav, NCP Legislator said, “Kumbh Mela is approaching and even the population of Nashik is increasing. The CCTVs should be installed and made functional by next year. If they are made functional just a month before the Kumbh Mela, it won’t prove beneficial.”
Kumbh Mela 2015 will witness lacs of people and so additional force to maintain law and order during this event is suggested by the Nashik Police Commissioner. Kumbh Mela 2015 will evidently focus on renovating roads, training armed forces, cleaning up the city’s muck and many other arrangements to host a peaceful and worthy event.
Mr. Patil also shared that an amount of Rs.950 crore and Rs. 338 crore has already been authorized in Mumbai and Pune respectively for the CCTVs installation.
With the forthcoming event, Nashik is going to undergo a massive transformation as the city will be welcoming guests from all over India. Hope this mega mela proves to be a great success.
