Another update to the previous news published by Page 3 Nashik regarding the start of the Direct Vegetable Markets in the city. The group of small-time farmers based in Sinnar, have now opened up a new direct center in Pokar Colony of Untwadi road on 27/10/2013, Sunday.
These markets help the public to get the vegetables at a cheaper rate i.e. 10% lesser rates and without the interference of the middlemen. The activity of selling started since last month and now there are total 4 chainsof the market in the city. One is at the Patil Park in Dongre Vasatigruha, one at Suyojit Lawns in Mahatmanagar and other near the Tibetan market. The new market works on the similar line and is located at Pokar colony, Untwadi road.
The volunteers of the Yuva Mitra informed that, “The vegetable market at Pokar colony will be open from 2 pm to 3 pm, the ones at Patil Park and near Tibetan market will be open between 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm or 5 pm and from 5 pm onwards the market will be open at Suyojit Lawns. Also added, “The quality of vegetables is good as they are brought to the market only after proper grading, sorting and packing”.
The vegetables are grown with the natural manure method and usage of chemicals to grow them is avoided. The quality of the vegetables is assured as they are brought to the market within 3 hours of tugging from the fields.
Nashikites can not only avail vegetables at lesser rates but also quality ensured.
