An exhibition of sculptures held at Kusumagraj memorial is receiving tremendous response from art lovers from Nashik. The exhibition, which gives glimpses of traditional metal work art of Chhattisgarh and Terracotta art of Rajasthan, was inaugurated at the hands of veteran sculptor Aruna Garge.
K K Wagh Lalit Arts College has organised the exhibition with the aim to introduce the ancient and traditional arts of India to new generation. The college students visited various places of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan to study these arts and also attended a workshop at Chhattisgarh. They created 45 artistries. Similarly 30 students attended a workshop at Rajasthan and created 80 artistries. All these artistries have been displayed in the exhibition.
