So I went ahead and asked him some direct question about his journey :

Q: Before we talk about ‘Vedhalam’, I’d like you to talk about your journey as a Model.

ANIKET CHOUHAN: I am a very Raw person and I never plan things. I consider myself a destiny’s child. It all began in 2006, When I got the opportunity to be a part of Gladrags Mr. India. After that I never turned back. I started working with few biggies like Lakme Fashion Week, Wills Lifestyle and many other reputed companies of glam industry. I started my first solo entity. Kkarma Entertainment in 2009 and since then has been an active part of many shows in different cities of India.

Q: How did you get into Tollywood and How did you land this movie?

ANIKET CHOUHAN: Coming from a Non-filmy background. It wasn’t easy for me to bag a role in Tollywood. Things weren’t offered to me on a platter. I had to go through my round of struggle in Bollywood before I finally got a concrete offer in the form of Vedhalam. One of my co-ordinator was looking for someone who could play the negative character. He propped me to give it a try. So I did a photo shoot and sent my photographs. I got a call for Audition from a Casting Director and finally got selected after multiple auditions including Screenshot and Look Test. I feel this movie was destined for me.

ANIKET CHOUHAN: ‘Vedhalam’ is a big budget Tamil Action Film directed by Siruthai Siva starring Ajith Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Iyer and Rahul Dev. The film was earlier known as Thala 56 as we have Ajith Sir in a lead role. He is known as Thala in Tollywood and it is his 56th movie. But later on it received an official title as ‘Vedhalam’. The title ‘Vedhalam’ has been adopted from the famous Indian tale ‘Vikramaditya Vethalam’. The story of the film revolves around a protective brother which is played by Ajith Sir and his only sister. Three Gangster brothers spoil her life and successfully manage to flee to abroad. Story gets switched when brother (Ajith Sir) immerses himself in seeking revenge on the Culprits.
