The Pilot 1.1 KM smart road project is likely to be completed before 31st March 2019.
Clearly this 2 years long construction time is showing lack of smart planning.
This make me wonder if a small stretch of road is taking 2 years, then god save the planning commission of Smart City Development Corporation.
This is a first smart road from Ashok Stambh to Trimbak Naka, which started as a pilot project seems to coming it its final stage.
The proposed features of the road include uniform standard carriageway width, properly designed footpaths, bicycle lane, road intersection development, infrastructure utility ducts below footpaths, road marking, proper storm water drainage and landscaping.
