The Republic Day celebrated with a noble cause to do some good deed to the unprivileged sections of the Society was perfectly exemplified by UDAAN- an NGO. UDAAN- a step towards humanity started with a basic idea to extend support for the mankind, a kind of charity towards the unprivileged sections of the society. UDAAN is an NGO managed and powered by Nashik Buildcon (p) Ltd.
Ronak Shah, the founder of UDAAN, shared this idea with his father Mr.Mahesh Shah (Chartered Accountant) and uncle Mr.Girish Shah of propagating a noble cause. They agreed to this socialistic idea and contributed to all sorts of help needed. UDAAN then turned into a team of 40 members within a week, by the 
approval in the plan from friends and family of Ronak Shah (founder).
UDAAN organized a meal with the students of Prabhodini Vidhya Mandir School for the mentally challenged kids pursuing their education at the school, today i.e. 26th January 2014 at 8 am to 9:30 am, Venue- Prabhodini Vidhya Mandir School, Lane no-2, Pandit Colony, Nashik.
The basic permission for this charitable trust was given by Mrs.Limay (honorable chairman of Prabhodini Vidhya Mandir School). She gave all possible permission to make students cherish in the air of UDAAN. T-Shirts and wrist bands were distributed among the members and donors of UDAAN. Mr.Mahesh Shah (C.A) and his wife Mrs.Trupti Shah were invited as chief guests. The process of flag hoisting was done in the honor of Mr. and Mrs. Shah along with Mrs.Limay. The students sung the National Anthem with enthusiasm. UDAAN then distributed breakfast to 300 students from all the 5 branches of Prabhodini Vidhya Mandir school who were gathered in all at the Pandit colony’s’ branch. Breakfast was eventually distributed among the teachers, staff and crew of the school. Mrs.Limay acknowledged every member of UDAAN. Patriotic performances 
were done by the students of the school which included dance, music, bands and drills to make the event worth memorable. All the members of UDAAN were felicitated by Mrs.Limay with a rose in hand and smile on face.
UDAAN thus stepped its first stone for charity and will continue such noble cause every three month. UDAAN will endeavor to make a positive contribution to the underprivileged communities by supporting a wide range of socio economic initiatives. It would be a privilege for Nashik to experience such dedicated social awareness in the city as this is the essential component of our corporate social responsibility to care for the community.“JAI HIND!”
