A classical singing concert of Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar’s student Nishad Bakre lighted the evenings of Nashikites.
On the fourth death anniversary of Annasaheb Thatte the Kusumagraj Pratishthan and Annasaheb Thatte family had cordially organised the classical singing concert at Kusumagraj Memorial.
Nishad Barke commenced the concert by the Raag Marwa. Response was given by the audience to the song ‘Jhanan Jhanan Baje’ in the Vilambit Taal Jhumra. Bakre further presented a small song “Oh Gunijan Mil Gao” in the Drut Ektaal. The audience were mesmerised by the concert.
Bakre was supported by Nitin Ware on Tabla, Ashish Kulkarni on Sanvadini, Shrirang Datar and Amruta Jadhav on Tanpur. Geeta Barve anchored.
