09pic5On the backdrop of the bhoomipoojan (land worship) of ambitious Goda Park project, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief arrived on a three-day Nashik tour last evening 20th Feb 2014. Mayor Adv. Yatin Wagh and MLA Vasant Gite welcomed him with a bouquet at the Government Rest House.
Raj Thackeray will go to Shirdi today (Feb. 21). After returning from there, he will hold discussions with office bearers in the city and district to take a review of the party’s work. Vinayakdada Patil and Sarojtai Patil will perform bhoomipoojan of ambitious Goda Park project on Saturday (Feb. 22) in the principal presence of former BJP national president Nitin Gadkari and Raj Thackeray.
There was a dispute within the ruling MNS-BJP alliance over the bhoomipoojan of development works. Local BJP office bearers had even asked for the alliance to be terminated. On this backdrop, it will be interesting to see whether Gadkari attends the programme or not.
The friendship between Raj and Gadkari is well nown. The presence of Gadkari will help to end the divide between MNS and BJP.
