The voice behind hits like ‘Teri Deewani’ and ‘Allah Ke Bande’, the biggest Sufi name in the musical world, Kailash Kher, was set to perform in Nashik at Bhonsala military ground on 1st February 2014. The concert was sponsored and organized by Maharashtra times and hotel IBIS.
Not just Bollywood, Kailash Kher has sung in 18 languages for Indian films. Soulful and soothing, Kailash’s unique singing style became an instant hit when he embarked on his career in 2001. Other hits include ‘Tu Jaane Na’, ‘Tauba Tauba’, ‘Mangal Mangal’ and many more. Music had always been an integral part of Kailash’s life. His father, who was a Hindu priest, used to perform traditional folk songs.
Kailash Kher’s band- Kailasa has been big hit with music lovers. The band’s released its first album in 2006 and went on to revive the Indian pop music market. Nashikkites got the opportunity to witness the biggest pop star in action who sung all his hits including ‘teri deewani’,’tauba tauba’, ‘rangdini’ and many more. The event kicked off by 8:30 pm. A huge number of crowd was gathered to have a musical Saturday night. Mayor Yatin Wagh was present as the chief guest. There held a number of dance and music performances and it was indeed an eventful evening.
A perfect musical Saturday night which concluded around 10 pm was worth the enjoyment and Nashikkites had a great time with the singers musical delights.
