German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has set up its first dealership in Nashik, an emerging market for the company, taking its nationwide count of outlets to 66. “The outlet will also act as a 3S (sales, service & spares) centre with 14 service bays and a team of 40 personnel”, the car-maker said in his statement. Operated by Indisch Motoren, the outlet has come up at an investment of Rs 10 crore, and will have 11 cars for display in the showroom, an exclusive zone for accessories, a customer lounge and Mercedes-Cafe among its other services.
Nashik being a part of the developing cities among India, surely has the potential to cultivate such international brands and make a mark of its own.
