What Experts are Saying on this:-

AIIMS, New Delhi’s Dr. Sanjeev Bhoyi said, “Training received here should not be kept to oneself, but should reach maximum people through training on different levels. We should tell maximum people about the same. Every needy person should get primary treatment immediately.  All individuals should have knowledge about basic treatment techniques which could prove useful in case of emergencies”.

In this workshop, Chancellor Dr. Arun Jamkar said, Kumbh Mela 2015 will bring lakhs of devotees from all over the country and even abroad. To avoid any disaster, the administration is taking corrective measures. The MUHS, considering its social responsibility has always tried to help the administration and plans to introduce a ‘Disaster Management Model’ for the Kumbh Mela 2015”.

Dr. Sanjeev Bhoyi spoke about chest compression, snake and animal bites, bleeding control and emergency care while Dr. Ashish Bindra gave tips regarding Airway, breathing, child and infant CPR. Dr. Ajit Baviskar stressed on Special Scenarios, Choking (Adult infant and Child) drowning and other emergencies.

Another aim of MUHS is to focus on the volunteers of National Service Scheme (NSS), colleges and NGOs and scout and guide students along with the police. Dr. Jamkar also mentioned that he has already announced the implementation and surprise checks of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan in the university’s affiliated colleges and if the colleges are found to be in impressive condition, they would be rewarded monetarily.

We give kudos to the initiative and pray that Nashik be a good host to the devotees of Kumbh Mela 2105.
