The construction work of an amphitheatre in Nashik behind Kusumagraj Smarak has been started. It will be completed in 3-4 months and the amphitheatre will be opened for public soon. It was declared in a press conference organised on Monday, at the Kusumagraj Smarak to announce the Godavari Gaurav awards.
According to sources, construction of a pool around the amphitheatre is also in the pipeline. According to the plan, 90 per cent work of the Smarak has already been completed and some halls have been opened for public. Now, the amphitheatre’s construction work has begun and technical advice is being taken for the pool’s construction. This work will possibly get done in the coming three-four months.
More than 1000 copies of the photo-biography on Kusumagraj published by Kusumagraj Pratishthan on the occasion of the poet’s birth centenary have been distributed.The Pratishthan has also undertaken a ‘Grantha tumchya dari’ (books at your door step) programme. Around 421 boxes of books have been distributed until now under this programme. This programme got huge response from the readers and the demand for books is still increasing.
