PET TOGETHER IN NASHIK

Animals and birds are a beautiful creation of God. Many people have a specific attachment towards these creatures IMG-20140106-WA0033and they make these Pets a close part of their family. This was seen much evidently in the PET-TOGETHER event organised by the Nashik Canine Club and the Pet Practitioners’ association on 5TH January 2014 at ‘Shagun Dome’ (Nandanvan Lawns), Mate Nursery Road, Savarkar Nagar, Gangapur Road, Nashik from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.

Many eminent personalities visited this event. Mr. Shahu Maharaj Khaire was present amongst the chief guests along with other corporate. The judge’s panel included Mr. Shrirang Darp, Mr. Diwakar Chandavle and others. People from various sectors of Nashik city had showcased and represented their pets in the show. Amongst them were 20 cats, 70 birds and 250 dogs. There were Persian, Chinese 20140105_151142_15842and African breeds of pets.

Persian breed pets were Hamster mouse, Pit-bull mouse, Persian cat, love birds, ducks. There was Chinese Hen which looked almost like peacock along with African Ringlet and African Parrots. Their rates are almost about 15 to 20 thousand. Among the dogs breed there were Bernard, French Mastiff, French Dean, Napoleon Mastiff, Russian Dogs, German shepherd, Boxer, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Indian Mastiff and many more. Sugar Glider was the most attractive breed of squirrel in the show. Prizes were given to the winner cats, dogs and birds.

The Show surely exhibited the pet culture in Nashik and was one of a kind in the city. ‘Pet Together’ was a wonderful event put together and depicted a beautiful attachment of people with their pets. Nashikites gave a good contribution and response.
