Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in Nashik Municipal Coporation (NMC) achieved great success in privatization of Goda Park and Manure plant. Hence, after getting this success MNS have now initiated proposals for privatizing several other projects.
Accordingly, privatization of Kalidas Kalamandir, Planetarium and several other projects will be possibly tabled in the general body meeting of NMC. Also Privatization of Octroi collection was cancelled by ruling MNS according to their announcement in NMC elections. Though it was cancelled by MNS but later privatization of several projects of NMC was done by ruling party. Project of Goda Park is now going to be handed over to Reliance foundation.
Then Phalke Smarak Memorial was privatized. In recent general body meeting proposal of privatization of manure project was passed. The private sector is gaining due importance in Nashik and hopefully will prove to be beneficial for one and all.
