Sameer Bhujbal interacts with Journalism students

Journalism department of HPT College in Nashik recently conducted a political awareness programme wherein MP Sameer Bhujbal interacted with the students. He spoke about agenda of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress Party for the upcoming elections.

Journalism department organised the programme where leaders of parties like Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Shiv Sena, Bhartiya Janata Party and Communist Party of India had a dialogue with the students. MLC Jayat Jadhav, Senior journalists and political analyst Suresh Bhatewara, Nishiganda Mogal, principal Dr VN Suryvanshi, head of the journalism department Dr Vrinda Bhargave, Prof Medha Saykhedkar, Prof Ramesh Shejwal and city president of NCP Sharad Koshire were present on the occasion.
Dr Bhargave mentioned that this initiative has been taken by the department to make future journalists understand the grand process of election and how it affects the country.
“I was fortunate that I had the guidance of our guardian minister Chhagan Bhujbal and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar while representing the Nashik district,” said Sameer Bhujbal while addressing the students.
“Airports Authority of India should take charge of Nashik airport. Many aviation companies can use this airport as an alternative. We are also taking efforts to establish this airport as a hanger and provide the maintenance facilities to flights.
Discussions with Naresh Goyal of Jet Airways are in process to start Jet Airways’s flight connectivity from Nashik,” Bhujbal informed while answering a question. “Another problem of railway connectivity will also be resolved soon as an additional track from Kalyan to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus will be built soon and therefore, extra train facility can be provided which will solve the issue of Nashik-Mumbai travel,” he further added.
Suresh Bhatewara, city president of Congress Ashwini Borste also shared their thoughts on the occasion. Prof Medha Saykhedkar proposed the vote of thanks.
