As we all are aware of the Uttarakhand tragedy and almost everyone is trying hard enough to save the poor souls, similarly The ‘Manav Uthan Manch‘ of Nashik jointly organized an Exhibition cum sale to do their bit.CCM..

The exhibition cum sale displayed paintings, sketches, photos and other artifacts and crafts donated by students of various schools and colleges which helped the committee to raise funds for the trapped people in the natural disaster. These funds are raised to meet the basic needs of the people as they are deprived of food, shelter and clothing. The wrecked houses and the huge debris have blocked all the ways and routes and therefore people are doing their best to reach out to the people.

ccm2The exhibition cum sale held at the City center mall in Nashik was co-ordinated by Mansi Patel and Asfaq Taheri. The space allotted for this expo was given to the organizers free of charge by the management team of City center mall. Mr. Abhay Apte Deshmukh and Mr. Nikhil Kulkarni supported the exhibition with their arms wide open.

The much appreciated aspect in this process was the collection of funds amounting to Rs.25000/- by the children for the Prime Minister Relief Fund in merely 48 hours. They put their best foot forward to convince and sell the art works to the shoppers.

Nashikites showed their kind gestures and helped to contribute a descent amount. We all wish to extend maximum support to the masses in Uttarakhand now and in the future.
