This Republic day people gathered in huge numbers and participated to celebrate the 26th January. But one of the several celebrations which caught the eye of Nashikites and Page 3 Lens was at the Prabodhini group of schools which is an institution for mentally challenged kids. These kids stood out in the entire celebration as they performed, danced, sang and shared happiness under one roof.
Over 350 students collectively participated and grooved on the floor. It was indeed an awesome experience to witness these kids as they inspired one and all present there. This event took place with the great support and encouragement by the school authorities and staff. Mr. Tejas Chavhan, leader of the Team Hausla took initiative to help and encourage the lovely children and distributed sweets and fruits. On the other hand, Jagbir Singh, a social activists was an active participant and made this event even more successful. Students from Sandeep College voluntarily came to spread love and peace. The crowd at the event took an oath to preserve and strengthen the nation’s integrity.
We, on behalf of Nashik , appreciate the initiative took by all the members to encourage such young talent and also to give them an opportunity to not feel isolated. We look forward to many more celebrations like these.
